Understanding 8085/8086 Microprocessors and Peripheral ICs: Through Questions and Answers by S K Sen

About the Author:

Sunit Kumar Sen is presently Professor of Instrumentation Engineering at the Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta. He graduated from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta in 1972 with Honours in Physics and secured First class. Subsequently he did his B. Tech. And M. Tech. from the University of Calcutta in 1975 and 1977 respectively, securing very high first class marks in both the examinations. In 1993, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Calcutta. 

In 1978, he joined Bokaro Steel Plant (under SAIL) in his capacity as Assistant Manager, Instrumentation (Operation) for five and half years. In 1984, he joined the Department of Applied Physics as a Lecturer. He teaches Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Digital Communication, Industrial Instrumentation, Electrical Networks Steel Plant Instrumentation etc. He has published about thirty-Five research papers in national and international journals. His research interests include Electronic and Microprocessor based Measurements and Instrumentation, Communication, Field bus Instrumentation etc. He is an expert member in NTTTIR and Aliah University. He was Head, Department of Applied Physics and also USIC‚ University of Calcutta.
